NW Ohio Propane (NWOP) opened our doors in 2017 and since then we have experienced substantial growth in the local propane market. We are a subsidiary company of North Western Electric Cooperative, Inc. (NWEC) which has been providing rural Williams and Defiance counties in northwest Ohio with affordable, reliable and safe electric service from a locally owned company for over 80 years.

Our mission at NWOP is to continue that tradition of service excellence. We can provide propane services to all residential, agricultural, industrial and commercial customers in northwest Ohio, northeast Indiana and southern Michigan.

DON'T RUN OUT OF GAS!

Check your gauge regularly

Running out of gas can result in a serious safety hazard, including fire or explosion!

  • If an appliance valve or gas line is left open, a leak can occur when the system is recharged with propane.

  • If your propane tank runs out of gas, any pilot lights on your appliances will go out.  This can be extremely dangerous!

  • A LEAK CHECK IS REQUIRED. A propane retailer or qualified service technician must perform a leak check of your propane system before turning on the gas. This can result in additional fees.
